'Karl Fuchs’ is a beautiful upright Himalayan cedar with semi-pendulous side branches and a trailing leader. The overall effect is a narrow upright with a soft conical shape. The needles on ‘Karl Fuchs’ can range from a light green to blue-green. Every year ‘Karl Fuchs’ may grow about 10-12 inches in height. ‘Karl Fuchs’ may reach 10 ft in height by 5 ft in width in 10 years. ‘Karl Fuchs’ was selected as a chance seedling in Afghanistan for its exceptional drought tolerance and cultivated by Karl Fuchs of Germany.
