'Ruby Falls' is a weeping redbud selection that was developed at NC State University by Dennis Werner. In the early spring, the weeping habit is covered in pink blooms. The maroon heart-shaped leaves show off the graceful weeping habit throughout the rest of the year. 'Ruby Falls' is exceptionally cascading and should be staked as high as you would like so that you can get the full effect of this weeping habit. 'Ruby Falls' may reach 6-8 ft in height by 5-6 ft in width in 10 years.
