'Kotobuki' is a small Japanese black pine selection from Japan with an upright and dense habit. The needles are shorter than most Japanese black pines, making this tree have a unique texture in the garden. This also makes 'Kotobuki' fairly popular for bonsai. 'Kotobuki' may reach 4-5 ft in height by 3 ft in width in 10 years.
