'Yurok Prince' is a nice spreading selection of dwarf coastal redwood with a spreading habit. The particular specimens available have been staked up attain a height off the ground before they spread outwards. If 'Yurok Prince' develops a central leader, it is best to trim it out to allow the spreading habit. 'Yurok Prince' was found in Oregon and named by Conifer Society members after the native Yurok tribe that originally lived among the redwoods. 'Yurok Prince' may reach 5-6 ft in height by 15 ft wide in 10 years.
