Stewartia pseudocamellia is certainly one of the best small flowering trees for year-round interest. The 2 ½” white to pink "camellia-like" flowers appear mid-summer. The lustrous, dark green foliage turns brilliant red, orange, and yellow in the fall. The tan and orange-brown bark exfoliates in strips  providing unparalleled winter interest. This is tree for year round interest in the garden.
