'Gold Drop' is a nice dwarf selection of hinoki cypress that only reaches 2 ft in height and width in 10 years. The golden yellow color of the foliage gives a big impact in a small space. ‘Gold Drop’ was found as a seedling from the cultivar 'Holmstrup' by Dr. Clark West in 1985.
