'Geisha Gone Wild' Japanese maple was found as a variegated sport off of 'Geisha'. 'Geisha Gone Wild' is a beauty that leafs out with bright pink margined variegation on a deeper red. By summer, in full sun in the south the leaf on 'Geisha Gone Wild' changes to a green with cream variegation.
When given morning sun and afternoon shade, the spring pink and red coloration maintains for the longest amount of time. 'Geisha Gone Wild' will reach 7 ft in 10 years with a vase-like shape. Fall colors on the 'Geisha Gone Wild' Japanese maple are a hot pink to bright purples.

The 1-gallon XL Acer palmatum 'Geisha Gone Wild' I received is absolutely gorgeous. It’s nice and tall with excellent branching and arrived in great condition. The variegated foliage is already putting on a show, and I can’t wait to get this beauty in the ground and watch it thrive. A standout addition to my collection!
Absolutely stunning tree. Planted in new bed early spring and the colors have been phenomenal. Planted in full sun, will recieve evening shade, and it is strong and thriving.

Geisha Gone Wild is an amazing tree. The pink and green variegation is one of a kind. It was one of the last to leaf out this year, and when it did it was hot pink. Now it’s more reddish and green. Love this tree. Love Mr Maple 🍁!!!
