'Acro-Yellow' is a show-stopping Norway spruce that combines heavy coning with an electric spring glow. This selection pushes brilliant butter-yellow new growth in the spring that sits like frosting over dark green interior needles. To top it off, it produces a profusion of ornamental cherry-red cones at the tips of the branches, creating a stunning red-on-yellow contrast. Selected as the 2020 ACS Collectors' Conifer of the Year, this semi-dwarf grows roughly 4-6 inches per year, developing an irregular upright habit with character-filled undulating branches. Reaching approximately 6 ft tall by 4 ft wide in 10 years, 'Acro-Yellow' thrives in full sun across zones 3-7, providing year-round architectural structure while delivering a massive color punch every spring. The color shows best when in full sun.
