'Michael Steinhardt' is a golden trident that was introduced by Don Shadow. It leafs out yellow and gets more and more yellow-bright orange as the summer progresses. The colors brighten up more and more on this beautiful trident maple. We estimate that 'Michael Steinhardt' will reach 15 ft in 10-15 years.

Awesome cultivar

Golden trident, also starts out bronze or orange then turns gold absolutely fantastic tree. First one I bought was mutated by a natural pesticide and is pink and yellow now. So I bought a second from Mr. Maple...fourth total. Yes I am that person...moral of the story this new batch is outstanding the graft is slightly wonky for bonsai unless I put it in the ground for a while and use other methods to reduce it in time. Well worth it get one or two if you can!
