'Fruticosa’ is a dwarf dense selection of European beech with green leaves and an overall rounded habit. ‘Fruticosa’ may reach 5 ft in height and width in 10 years. ‘Fruticosa’ was found as a witches broom mutation at Arboretum Borová hora in Slovenia. ‘Fruticosa’ is Latin for “bushy”.
