'Variegata' has a nice showing of yellow dusting variegation over the dark green leaf. This variegated selection of a native puts on a show in the landscape. In autumn, the variegated leaves turn to multiple shades of pink to red. 'Variegata' may reach 40 ft in height by 30 ft in width in 15-20 years. This cultivar has also been known under the name 'Aureovariegata'.
