'Anne-Irene' leafs with bright golden yellow leaves that can be outlined in a frilly red border. As the leaf matures, the red border fades but the leaf turns more and more yellow. The fall color is a bright fiery red to deep maroon. We expect 'Anne-Irene' to reach 6-8 ft in 15 years. 'Anne-Irene' is a variegated sport on 'Summer Gold' that was found at Kwekerij van Son & Koot in Holland and introduced by Dick van Der Maat.

I ordered a 1 gallon. Received a fairly good sized tree, multiple leads. It’s been in a morning sun and afternoon shade area and it has colored up so much within 2 weeks, the yellow really pops and the red tips are starting to develop. You won’t be disappointed with this one, a must have.
