'Orange Dream' is a beautiful Japanese maple with exceptional color. The leaves of 'Orange Dream' leaf out in the early spring with bright golden leaves that are outlined in bright orange red. This color contrast is striking. 'Orange Dream' is excellent as a focal point planting or when planted in combination with deep maroon Japanese maples. 'Orange Dream' can also be used to brighten dark spots in the garden. In hotter climates, we recommend giving 'Orange Dream' protection from the hot afternoon sun for best color. Fall colors are bright oranges to red.
'Orange Dream' is an Italian introduction from Gilardelli Nursery. 'Orange Dream' may reach 10 ft in 15 years becoming denser and more shrub-like with time.

This beauty (3 gal) arrived in a 6 foot box and went straight into the ground. It quickly began to change to fall color (see photos - 2 weeks apart) perhaps due to transport shock or due to a move from NC greenhouse to NH weather but it is still lovely. Hopefully it will winter over well.

The tree was a much taller than I thought, with a slight bend toward the top portion due to shipping, but it was well packaged and in good condition. It’s been a couple of weeks since I got it, I did a little wiring just to give the trunk a little character, in addition to eliminate a hunch-over look it had from shipping, the tree looks great and I have a bunch of new growth already! Very happy with my purchases and I just order two other maple trees! Looking forward to my new additions. Highly recommend buying from Mr. Maple!
This tree is beautiful! The yellow/green color is brilliant and really stands out between my red maples. It is taller than I expected and very symmetrical. I bought 1gal XL which was a very good deal.
