Larix decidua 'Puli' is a unique weeping larch that grows as a low, spreading groundcover or can be staked into a narrow, cascading tree. Its name comes from the Hungarian Puli dog, reflecting its long, pendulous, hair-like branches. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. In 10 years, it reaches about 6 inches tall by 3 ft wide if left unstaked, or up to 8 ft tall and 1–2 ft wide when staked.
