Cedrus atlantica 'Sahara Ice' is a show-stopper when it comes to blue atlas cedars. In the spring, 'Sahara Ice' pushes white new growth in the spring, By late spring, this blue atlas cedar is blue with variegated tips. By late summer it blue variegated with grey. 'Sahara Ice'. This variegated selection of blue atlas cedar may reach 7-8 ft in height by 3-4 ft in width in 10 years. 'Sahara Ice' was found as a chance seedling by Bill Jannsen at Collector Nursery.
