‘Momo no haru’ is a vivid rich pink purple blooming evergreen Satsuki azalea. Blooms are 1.5 inches in width. ‘Momo no haru’ blooms in both the spring and the fall. ‘Momo no haru’ may reach 1-2 ft in height by 4 ft in width in 10 years. This low spreading dwarf makes an excellent bonsai as seen in amazing specimen by John O. Lee in the photos. ‘Momo no haru’ was brought to Brookside Gardens from Japan by our good friend Barry Yinger as cuttings in the late 1970s. ‘Momo no haru’ translates as “Spring of Peach”.

All azaleas are 1 gallon containers and are not currently bonsai.
