If you fancy an azalea in your garden, this is it. ‘Hilda Niblett’ is a late spring bloomer, often blooming in June. The bloom is a medium pink with the edges becoming a pale pink. The petals are wavy and almost ruffled. To top all this off, many of the 3.5 inch blooms may display a medium pink flecking or stripes across the bloom. ‘Hilda Niblett’ may reach 3-4 ft in height and width in 10 years with a mounding and low spreading habit. ‘Hilda Niblett’ is one of the amazing Robin Hill hybrid selections by Robert Gartrell that was named after one of his good friends.
