'Vertree's Collection' leafs out as a bright pink in the early spring, turning dark green with bronze highlights throughout the summer. Fall color is a bright yellow to orange. I expect 'Vertree's Collection' to get 4ft tall by 5ft wide in 10 years. The overall habit is cascading forming a beautiful arching umbrella shape.

'Vertree's Collection' is a beautiful laceleaf Japanese maple that came from J.D. Vertrees home who wrote the 1st, 2nd, and some of the third edition of book on Japanese Maples.
