'Hana fubuki' is a spectacular selection of Japanese maple that was introduced in 1999 by Yutaka Tunaka of Tsukasa Maple in Japan, The name 'Hana fubuki' means "flower snowstorm" which is very fitting for this variegated Japanese maple. 'Hana fubuki' leafs out in the spring with pink margined variegation, which turns to white variegation by early summer. We expect 'Hana fubuki' to reach 8-10ft in 10 years.
