In Japan, there are two trees sold under the name 'Kansai akegarasu'. One is a green form and the other is a red form. We are offering the red form of 'Kansai akegarasu'. This Japanese maple leafs out with large amoenum leaves that are bright red infused with chartreuse green. The dynamic color contrast makes  this upright maple a dynamic addition to any landscape. We expect 'Kanasai akegarasu' may reach 8-10 ft in height in 10 years.
