Dr Willliam Ackerman did some great breeding work to create beautiful cold hardy camellias through his Winter Series. ‘Winter‘s Snowman’ is said to be cold hardy to -10 degrees F. ‘Winter’s Snowman’ has glossy green leaves that provide year round color. ‘Winter’s Snowman’ blooms in late fall to early winter with large 2.5-3 inch semi-double to anemone form ruffled white flowers. The blooms are just as pleasant to smell as they are to look at!  ‘Winter’s Snowman’ may reach 6-10ft in height by 5-6 ft in width in 10 years. This is a cold hardy camellia you will love in your garden!
