Cornus florida 'Superior White' was originally selected as having a superior resistance to anthracnose than the native species, while also having a very large bloom set. The white blooms are that of the species, appearing first in the spring often before the leaves. 'Superior White' is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the native dogwood, while also being able to have a high resistance to the common problem associated with the tree. 'Superior White' may reach 8-10 ft in height in 15 years. 'Superior White' makes a a great small to mid-sized the landscape to add spring blooming to the garden.
