'Blue Ice' is an excellent fast growing tree that will make a statement in the landscape with it's evergreen frosty blue foliage. Selected and introduced by Duncan and Davies of New Zealand, this drought tolerant blue conifer is quickly making it's name across the south due it's toughness, resilience, and great blue color. 'Blue Ice' has a nice tight compact habit, while reaching nearly 1.5 ft of growth in a year. Trees of 'Blue Ice' that are 10 year old may reach 15 ft in height, making it a great tree to block lots of wind or view from your neighbor's yard. The blue color stands out in the landscape and garden and adds a much needed color. Give 'Blue Ice' partial to full sun for best performance in your garden.
