'Red Licorice' is a fothergilla known for its great fall color. 'Red Licorice' turns to a cherry red in the fall.  For best fall color, give full sun in cooler climates.   'Red Licorice' puts on fuzzy white blooms in April-May that are fragrant. 'Red Licorice' may reach 6ft by 5 ft in 10 years.
