Hydrangea machophylla ‘Vetchii' is a very showy Lacecap hydrangea. It works great in a mixed boarder with other deciduous hydrangeas. You can also use several ‘Vetchii’ together to create a large colorful effect in a boarder. This form is nice and compact and typically reaches around 4 to 5 ft in 10 years by equally as wide. The flowers are large and blue with white florets. This bloom is even further accentuated as the florets mature to a nice bright pink. The foliage also has a nice glossy sheen to it. All of these great qualities add together to make it a highly useful plant for cut flower arrangements. No matter how you use it’s going to bring lots of impact to the home garden landscape.  It's an easy-care shrub that can increase the visual impact of your garden all season long.
