'Early Gold’ is a blue spruce selection with golden yellow new growth. The yellow new growth puts on a show in the spring, fading in the summer to a darker green. ‘Early Gold’ forms a conical shape reaching 6-8 ft in height by 4-5 ft in width in 10 years.
