Pinus thunbergii 'War Bonnet'
Rare Japanese Black Pine Tree

'War Bonnet' is a a nice vigorous long green needled selection of Japanese black pine that has a great bright yellow winter color. This selection is fairly rare in the trade, however, we expect 'War Bonnet' to reach 8-10 ft in height and width in 10 years. Being a Pinus thunbergii, 'War Bonnet' is heat tolerant, salt resistant, and can handle more shade than many other conifers.
