Prunus jacquemontii is a beautiful dwarf flowering shrub for your landscape and garden. Often referred to as an Afghan Bush Cherry, Prunus jacquemontii produces bright pink flowers that cover the branches in early spring. Prunus jacquemontii is self pollinating, and red cherries often follow the blooms. Prunus jacquemontii tree may reach 3-5 ft in height and 2-4 ft in width in 10 years when planted in the landscape. Prunus jacquemontii is native to Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Tajikistan & Tibet. Prunus jacquemontii was named after French botanist Victor Jacquemontii.
