'Pink Snowflakes' is a slow-growing dwarf evergreen rhododendron. The unopened blooms are a bright red, opening up to funnel-shaped blooms that are white, flushed in pink. The combination is striking. ‘Pink Snowflakes’ may reach 2 ft in height and width in 10 years. ‘Pink Snowflakes’ is a hybrid between Rhododendron racemosum and Rhododendron moupinense that was bred and developed by legendary rhododendron breeder, Bob Scott of Kensington, California.
