'Plant Mad Garden' is a selection of Japanese stewartia with an excellent form with strong branching. The blooms on 'Plant Mad Garden' are quite large in the late spring to early summer. The fall color on 'Plant Mad Garden' is a fiery orange red. The bark is great & the leaves have a slight silver sheen to the leaf and shows excellent vigor for a Japanese stewartia. This selection by our good friend, Guy Meachum, is expected to reach 16-18 ft in 15 years. 'Plant Mad Garden' is one most spectacular Japanese stewartia on the market and deserves a spot in your garden. I'm sure it will steal the show!
