Syringa ‘Edward J. Gardner’ is a double pink blooming lilac tree. The large panicles of pale pink blooms are quite attractive over the dark green foliage. ‘Edward J. Gardner’ may reach 8-10 ft in height by 8ft in width in 10 years with an overall rounded form. ‘Edward J. Gardner’ was introduced by Gardner Nursery of Horicon, WI in the early 1950’s and is still considered the best double pink lilac on the market.
