So, you want a white maple? Look no further than this fun-loving 'Carnival' maple. Acer campestre 'Carnival' gives a display of white that is unmatched, the white-margined variegation will catch your eye! 'Carnival' is a real beauty & has thick margined white variegation that contrasts well with the small splotch of green in each leaf. In autumn, 'Carnival' may turn a golden yellow. 'Carnival' makes a nice tree reaching 10-12 ft in 15 years. I have learned to make sure to give 'Carnival' at least morning sun to full sun. Trees planted in deep shade stay alive but lack the vigor of the trees with some sunlight.
