'Hunnewell' was found as a dwarf mutation in Massachusetts known as a witches broom.  'Hunnewell' is unique in that is has tube-like leaves, regular ginkgo leaves, and thread-like leaves all on the same tree.  The twisting habit of the leaves provides a unique texture for a ginkgo as this tree matures. 'Hunewell', aka 'Hunnewell Broom' reaching 6-7 ft in height and width in 15 years. Fall color is a bright golden yellow.
