'Green Star' is an excellent and beautiful Japanese maple by the late Dick Wolff of Red Maple Nursery in Pennsylvania. It leafs out with a florescent green leaf that is cupped downward that slowly unfolds out in a beautiful display that demands attention. The bright green leaves on this 'Green Star' Japanese maple provide an excellent summery feel in the landscape throughout the year. In the autumn, this Japanese maple will light your garden like the stars light up the night sky. Fall colors are bright golden yellows accented by bold shades of orange.  'Green Star' will reach 15 ft in height in about 20 years.
