'Little Cindy' is a dwarf dense compact red Japanese maple selection that was found by our friend Ray Jackson and named after his wife, Cindy. 'Little Cindy' has a dense compact habit. 'Little Cindy' has a bright red in the spring, turning to deep maroon. Some green comes into the leaf during the the hot part of the summer. Fall color is a bright crimson. 'Little Cindy' has a more divided matsumurae leaf distinguishing it from other brooms. 'Little Cindy' may reach 6-8ft in 10 years.
