Acer palmatum 'Tsuka bane' is a classic green Japanese maple that is recorded in Japanese literature as early as 1782. The large amoenum leaves of 'Tsukabane' may give a bronze hue in the spring over a green yellow to olive colored leaf. In the fall 'Tsukabane' turns yellows and orange. 'Tsukabane' is a moderate grower reaching 8-10 ft in 10 years.
