Rare Vic's Broom Dwarf Japanese Maple

'Vic's Broom' is a superior dwarf Japanese maple. The foliage on this miniature is extremely small, so small I had to break out a macro-lens to get a great shot of it. It appears this dwarf resulted as mutation known as a witches broom. You can tell this by the fore-shortened center lobe. Vic's Broom leafs out with a bright red border to the chartreuse green leaf. On such a compact and dense plant with tiny foliage, this makes for a great display in the spring garden. Vic's broom is excellent for containers or small spaces in the garden as this dwarf reaches 3-4 ft in height and width in 10 years. Fall colors are bright yellows infused with reds and oranges. This is a dwarf Japanese maple you will want in your garden.
