'Pee Wee’ is a beautiful smaller oak leaf hydrangea selection. ‘Pee Wee’ begins blooming early in the season, creating a long blooming hydrangea in your landscape you are sure to enjoy. The large soft white blooms over the sharp oak-like leaves give a dynamic contrast in texture and add interest in the garden. AS the flowers mature they begin to get a pink to rose blush across the bloom. The oak-like leaves turn to a bright red to deep maroon in the fall. ‘Pee Wee’ isn’t your typical oak leaf hydrangea as it typically reaches 4 ft in height and width in 10 years, making it a smaller more a manageable plant for most gardens.
