Pseudocydonia sinensis is an unusual and uncommon tree has extremely thick, dark green foliage. This Chinese quince blooms in the early spring with small pink fragrant flowers. After blooming this tree produces large, 6" yellow fruit which makes excellent jam/preserves. Pseudocydonia sinensis reaches 15-18ft in height towards maturity. In the autumn, the leaves on this tree turns from bright yellows to reds. Exfoliating bark on this tree provides winter interest making this a tree for all seasons.
