‘Nuresagi ‘is a beautiful mid-sized upright red Japanese maple tree. The color of Nuresagi in the spring is an amazing deep purplish-red in the spring. The name ‘Nuresagi’ is Japanese for “wet heron” which describes the buds of this tree as it leafs out in the spring. The growth of this Nuresagi Japanese maple tree can reach 8-10 feet tall by 4 feet wide in 10 years. ‘Nuresagi’ is a very vigorous and cold hardy Japanese maple tree cultivar that grows well in sun or shade.
