'Asayake' is new weeping laceleaf selection that displays a golden yellow color with a purple spring border when grown in morning sun to full sun. 'Asayake' is a selection by our good friend and former president of the American Conifer Society, Neil "Ramsey" Fusillo. The name 'Asayake' means "the colors of sunrise". Fall colors typically range from bright oranges to red. 'Asayake' is fairly heat tolerant. The original 'Asayake' in the photos is in full sun in Marietta, Georgia.
