'Corvallis Broom' is a broom that was found on 'Sango kaku' by Kevin Kelley and introduced into the nursery trade. 'Corvallis Broom' is a slow grower with a tight multi-stemmed habit. 'Corvallis Broom' has green foliage in the spring, over the bright red coral bark. Fall color is a bright yellow. In the winter, this dwarf shines with bright red bark. 'Corvallis Broom' may reach 4-5 ft in height by 3-4 ft in width in 10 years.
