Acer palmatum 'Hangover' is known for its uniquely shaped, elongated chartreuse green leaves with irregular margins that exhibit sport-like variegation. This upright tree gets its name from its outward-hanging branches and leaves. The original 'Hangover' resides at the Cox Arboretum and was named by Brent Markus. 'Hangover' can reach a height of 8 ft in 10 years.
