'JJ Fire Red', sometimes known as Acer palmatum 'JJ' is a red matsumurae with serrated edging and a bold red spring color. In the fall 'JJ Fire Red' turns to a bright fiery red like the name suggests. 'JJ Fire Red' may reach 10-12 ft in height in 10 years. Not commonly found in the nursery trade, 'JJ Fire Red' is highly prized by collectors for its beauty and rarity.
