'Nathan' is a beautiful delight in the garden. In the spring 'Nathan' leafs out with a pink to peach reticulated variegation that stands out from the crowd. The spring colors mature to red, then eventually to green for the summer. Fall color on 'Nathan' is typically a bright crimson red. 'Nathan' may reach 8-10 ft in height in 10 years. For best color, give 'Nathan' protection from the hot afternoon sun. 'Nathan' was a selection by Cor Van Gelderen of Esveld Nursery, named after his son.
