'Ori zuru' is a not-so-common Japanese maple with exceptional variegation. The serrated leaves are covered in pink and white splotched variegation. 'Ori zuru' may reach 6-8 ft in height in 10 years. Make sure to give 'Ori zuru' protection from the hot afternoon sun to avoid burning the variegation on the leaf during the summer months.

Have owned this maple over a year in zone 7, with partial sun. It has been thriving, and threw these beautiful colors here in mid to late May this year. Picked this one up at open house. We have a few dozen different Mr. Maple Japanese maples. Definitely recommend open house, if you can make it - quite the treat, and you might find several listed as not otherwise in stock on the site.
