'Peggy' was a laceleaf selection that was found from an upright Japanese maple and was grown for a number of years under evaluation at Acer Acres. It was named after one of their propagator's at the time. In the spring, 'Peggy' has an orange to bronze cast across the entire tree, turning to green by mid-spring. Fall colors can range from yellow to oranges to red. 'Peggy' may reach 4-5 ft in height by 5-6 ft in width in 10 years with a nice weeping habit.
