Introduced by Piet Vergeld, this maple is truly unique. In fact, "Peve" is a combination with his name which Piet uses for many of his introductions. 'Peve Ollie' creates a mid-sized tree reaching 8-10 ft with large twisting maroon red leaves on sturdy limbs and a thick trunk. This gives this tree a unique habit and a firm texture in the landscape and garden. 'Peve Ollie' intensifies to a much brighter red during the fall.
