Acer tenuifolium 'Keikan zan' - Found in the wild of Japan at Mt. Keikan zan, this selection has more divided lobes than the species, with beautiful overall rounded full moon type look to the leaf. Fall color is bright yellows, oranges, to reds. For years, Acer tenuifolium had been grouped with sieboldianum and shirasawanum but is now recognized as a distinctive species. About 8 ft in 15 years.
