'Tiger’ is a deciduous azalea with bright orange blooms in the early to mid spring. ‘Tiger’ may reach 6 ft in height by 4-5 ft in width in 10 years. While this selection was named and introduced by the Donald E. Davis Arboretum at Auburn University after Auburn’s mascot. I am sure many Clemson fans wouldn’t mind having a Clemson orange flowering azalea named ‘Tiger’ in their garden.
